Engineer/Senior Engineers - Testing & QA

Job Description

The person will work with our Testing & QA Competency Center, provide hands on testing & QA for Software products and enterprise applications including contributing to next generation testing concepts using latest technologies and tools. The candidate will closely work with the technical manager(s) to enable niche solutions and delivery capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Overall IT experience of 3 to 5 years with excellent understanding of various Software testing methods, technologies and Tools.

• Excellent knowledge in Manual testing and Automation (QTP,Rational)
• Good knowledge of Load testing and security testing of web applications is preferred.
• WebLOAD,HP LoadRunner,Microsoft stress testing etc , IP Penetration testing tools etc.
• Write and execute test scenarios, cases, following quality processes .Prepare defect reports.
• Experience in C# , Perl Scripting or  VB/Java Script
• Experience in Unix or Linux based environment (Redhat,Fedora,Ubuntu,Solaris etc)
• Knowledge / exposure to all aspects of SDLC and processes ,Configuration management.
• Should be a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
• Quality focus, result & goal orientation in a group situation and commitment to customer delight are a must.
• Knowledge and experience with web based applications, best practices, processes and tools.

• Candidates should have Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Candidates should be ready to work in multiple technology environments and testing methods.
