Technical Manager/Enterprise Solution Architect
(Cloud Computing/SaaS/Remote Enterprise Management)

Job Description

We are seeking a competent person to lead our Cloud Computing and SaaS Center of Excellence (CoE).

• The person will work on enabling niche technology and delivery capabilities and provide multiple solutions in the areas of cloud computing. Software as a Service (SaaS) and Remote Management of Enterprises.
• Provide hands-on leadership and direction for the CoE and clients working on enabling internal capabilities and multiple enterprise level services projects.
• Play a balanced techno-functional and managerial role to contribute towards all aspects of technology-people competency building and project deliveries for international clients.
• Contribute to providing global delivery/Software solutions based on the latest enterprise architecture, design, development and support applications using multiple technologies and tools in the areas of JEE, Cloud computing, Grid systems, SaaS, Virtualisation, Remote Infrastructure Management.
• Work closely with the Executive management to implement and deliver end to end COE requirements as per business plans. Provide direction to teams to ensure successful deliveries.
• Provide client relationship management to ensure successful delivery across projects

Desired Candidate Profile

Overall IT experience of 8 to 12+ years with excellent understanding of Enterprise Java technologies combined with backend RDBMS (Oracle, DB2 or MS-SQL), Product engineering, Enterprise infrastructure management.

If you are a person with less than 8 years experience, Please do not apply. 

• Experience on the latest Cloud computing and SaaS, PaaS technologies and Architectures and tools such as Amazon AWS, EC2, Google App engine, Force.com is highly preferred.
• Deep knowledge combined with Experience on developing and deploying applications on Virtualization environments such as XenOS, VmWare, and Microsoft Hypervisor etc.
• Excellent understanding of Remote infrastructure management tools such as hp Open View,Hyperic, Zenoss etc.
• Skill sets and Experience in UNIX environments is a MUST (Linux, Solaris or Aix).

Candidates who don't have experience working in Unix/Linux need not apply.

• 6+ years of recent experience leading application development or global Support teams across multiple
  platforms in a large enterprise environment.
• 6+ years of experience in full lifecycle solution development using object-oriented analysis and design techniques, preferably in a large enterprise environment using Enterprise Java, Application Servers, Web Services etc.
• Knowledge and experience with source code management, build and deployment best practices, processes and too

• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Good analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
• Strong foundation and expertise to formal SDLC process.
• Good project-management skills including experience in organizing, planning and executing mid size or large scale projects. Ability to solve and make decisions on complex business and technical issues, Ability to make decisions using sound business judgment.
